About Cristina:

Cristina is a senior associate director at the Rockefeller Foundation in New York City. She completed her radio fellowship at WOSU-AM in Columbus, Ohio, in 2002.

“It was fantastic,” Cristina said of her fellowship. “I still use so much of what I learned when speaking with the media about science issues, and when presenting or writing about science related issues!”

Cristina earned her Ph.D. in ecology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has a B.A. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Columbia University.
