American Geophysical Union retains services of Vetted Solutions

WASHINGTON — AGU, the world’s largest organization of Earth and space scientists, announced today that it has chosen Vetted Solutions to lead its executive search for its new Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer (ED/CEO).
Founded in 1919, AGU leads a global community of professionals representing academia, research, industry, policy, government, and grassroots activism. Fostering discovery and solution science, AGU publishes 24 high-impact journals and four active book series. In addition, AGU convenes major scientific gatherings worldwide, initiates broad engagements with geoscience societies, and conducts advocacy training for scientists to affect policy and funding. AGU membership is dynamic and diverse, powering a culture of inclusive and accessible science.
AGU has formed a search committee to oversee the process. Vetted Solutions will be coordinating the search.
