Randy W. Fiser is stepping down from AGU and the Board of Directors is seeking a new Executive Director/CEO to lead our community of 130,000 Earth and space-based scientists and enthusiasts.
The Board of Directors thanks Randy W. Fiser for his accomplishments during the last three years supporting our priority initiatives through the challenging COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Interim Executive Director/CEO is Janice Lachance, J.D., FASAE, AGU Executive Vice President of Strategic Leadership and Global Outreach, who will provide immediate leadership and guidance to the AGU staff, members, and partners until a permanent Executive Director/CEO is named.
A formal search process will commence soon.
